Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Ruan Abarbanel ("we"), who operates Shreddi. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Effective October 8, 2026.

Riding is at your own risk

Mountain biking is dangerous and can cause serious injury or death. Shreddi is a way to rank and discover trails. It is not a navigation tool, a safety service or a substitute for your own judgement.

Who can use Shreddi

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

You can browse the map and community scores without an account; ranking trails needs one. If you create one, keep access to your email secure, since it is how you sign in, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings (Profile → Settings).

What you contribute

Your rankings, the grades and styles you give trails, and your profile are yours. By adding them you give us permission to store them, show them to other riders, and use them to work out scores, community averages and recommendations. That permission ends when you delete them or your account, except where they have already been combined into averages that do not identify you.

Notes you add to your rankings are public. Don't put anything in a note that you wouldn't want other riders to read.

Acceptable use

Please rank honestly, from trails you have actually ridden. You agree not to:

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Map and trail data

Trail lines and many trail details come from OpenStreetMap and its contributors, under the Open Database License, and from public agencies. That data belongs to its sources. The app, its design, its marks and its name belong to us.

A beta service

Shreddi is in beta and covers a limited region. Features may change, break or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times. Paid features, if we add them, will come with their own terms shown before you pay.

No warranty

Shreddi is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the information is accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from riding any trail, including indirect or consequential losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if that is greater.

Ending use

You may stop using Shreddi at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or stop offering the service, in which case we will give notice where we reasonably can.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Shreddi after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
